Dream Zone’s Fashion Show Sets Guinness World Record for Attracting Most Number of Designers in a Single Continuous Fashion Show

Bangalore,  2019: Dream Zone, India’s premier institute of creative studies, from the CADD Centre Group, has made an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records for organizing a single continuous fashion show that had “the most designers to present” their designs.

The fashion show, Vibes360⁰-Brand Runway, featured 357 designers. 230 models hit the runway, wearing 1,205 items of clothing. The fashion show lasted for 25 hours and 10 minutes, and backed an "Unique Record" in the history, for being one of the Longest Fashion Shows.

More than 200 hair & makeup artists from Naturals Salon, one of India’s largest beauty & hair salons, and students of Dream Wellness, a training institute for skin & beauty, hair, and bridal make-up, were involved in the making of the world record. There were over 1,500 volunteers representing Dream Zone institutes, who gave backstage support.

Prince Phinehas and Stephen Lalen were among India’s leading designers who showcased their collections. Designer Shalini Visakan showcased her collections for the differently abled. Mehendi Jashnani, Harine Suresh, Sridevi Ramesh, Sanam shetty and Yashu MA Shetty were among the leading models who hit the ramp in stunning outfits.

The fashion show offered a platform also for the Master diploma and diploma students of Dream Zone to showcase their collections that ranged from Casual, Party, Avant-garde and Haute Couture with much glitz, glamour and creativity.

Guinness World Record made the official announcement of the new world record on June 27, 2019 for the event that took place during December 23- 24th  2018 at Confluence, Four Points by Sheraton.

Commenting about the event, Mr S Karaiadi Selvan, Managing Director, said that, it is one of an ambitious initiatives to bestow world recognition on India’s young creative talent in the fashion domain. Such demonstrations would help the designers grab the attention of leading fashion houses and brands across the globe. He also adds that, it will also create awareness and encourage many youngsters to step into the booming fashion design industry. Mr. S Karaiadi Selvan congratulates the students and trainers of Dream Zone,thanking the volunteers and sponsors of the event for helping Dream Zone set the world record.

The event was produced by JFX Events and had Dhiman Entertainments as the show director. The fashion’s most favourite Mr. Sunil Menon choreographed the show. Deepam Silks and Samudrika Designer Studio were the sponsors for the event.
