On this Independence Day (15th August, 2019 - Thursday), members of Association
of 41 Club of India belonging to Club 116, under the aegis of its SYJ (Share Your
Joy) project visited Jyothi Seva Society, the Blind School in Fraser Town area.
Educational material and mattresses were donated to support the cause of visually
challenged students. The occasion was also graced by past President of 41 Clubs of
India, Mr. Manoj Kapur who spoke about the movement and its vision towards
helping the needy. The Chairman of Club 116, also spoke about the inherent talent
of the visually challenged students and appreciated the same. Other members of
Club 116 also attended the function. The Independence Day was celebrated with the
unfolding of National Flag and singing of the National Anthem by the visually
challenged students, who presented a talent show / drill which was a treat to watch.
Their co-ordination was remarkable. Club 116, thanked the school administration,
Sister Claira and Sister Clarence for giving them an opportunity to be of help.
The above was done under the aegis of The Association of 41 Clubs of India, a Pan
India organisation which undertakes charitable activities for the upliftment and
betterment of the Society. Club no 116 from Bangalore is a part of this Association
and believes in this charity work and for ensuring a better life for the needy. SYJ is
